PSA: That 'simple' quarter panel blend on a 2021 Silverado took me 8 hours
Had a customer come in with a scratch that needed a spot repair and blend on the rear quarter... looked like a 3 hour job max. The factory metallic on that specific year has a weird mid-coat flake that just would not match under our booth lights, no matter how I adjusted the gun. Ended up doing 6 test cards, mixing in a bit of a custom tint, and re-clearing the whole panel twice. Anyone else run into that generation of GM paint being a total headache to match?
