Shop foreman told me my primer coats were 'too heavy' and it took me a week to admit he was right
I used to lay primer on thick to save a sanding pass, but he made me block out a fender I sprayed and the paper clogged in under a minute. Now I do two lighter coats and my sandpaper lasts way longer. Anyone else get called out on something that felt slow at first but actually saved time?
