Water-based paint won me over last week

I always avoided it because I heard it runs easily. Then I tried a new brand and the color match was perfect, with less smell. Who else has switched to water-based for daily jobs?

Cleanup with just water is the real game changer.

Yeah, the water cleanup thing is huge. My friend spilled a whole cup of that paint on her patio last week and freaked out, but it just hosed right off. She couldn't believe it.

Honestly, the not-running part depends. Cheaper water-based paints still run if you lay it on too thick. You gotta do thinner coats. @barnes.joseph is right about cleanup, but for brushes with dried bits, a little soap in the water works way better.
