Oh man, a stuck caliper bolt is the worst kind of lesson! I fought with one on my old truck for what felt like hours. That feeling when it finally breaks free is just the best.

Dayton junkyards are brutal on bolts with all that salt air. @abby_martinez has the right idea with the hammer trick, it shocks the rust. I always check if the bolt is actually reverse thread before I go full gorilla on it, seen a few like that. A little heat from a cheap torch can work wonders too if you're careful. That crack when it finally moves is better than most paychecks.

Yeah that "finally breaks free" feeling is the only good part. Next time, bring a real breaker bar, not just the socket wrench from your trunk. Soak it in penetrating oil for like 20 minutes while you pull other parts, then hit the bolt head straight on with a hammer a few times before you even try to turn it. Saves so much swearing.
