Shoutout to the $400 Milwaukee cordless ratchet I bought last month
I was on the fence about spending that much on a single tool, but it cut my engine bay time in half on a 2018 F-150 water pump job. The slim head got into spaces my old air ratchet couldn't dream of touching. Anyone have a go-to tool that felt like a splurge but paid for itself fast?

Wait... $400 for a single ratchet? That's a whole paycheck for me...

That price tag is wild, @laura486. It really puts into perspective how expensive some tools have gotten. My old craftsman ratchet from years ago is still kicking, and it cost a fraction of that. Hard to justify spending that much when a basic one does the job.

I get where @laura486 is coming from, but sometimes the right tool is just worth it. I felt the same way about my cordless impact driver until it saved a whole weekend project. It's not about the price tag, it's about getting your time back.
