The way people forget to bleed brakes after changing pads drives me crazy
I'm seeing more and more posts where guys swap pads and rotors but skip the bleed. You can get away with it sometimes but not when you push that caliper piston back. That old fluid goes right up into the ABS module and causes problems down the road. I worked on a 2014 F-150 last month where the owner did his own pads and two weeks later the pedal went soft. Ended up needing a full ABS bleed at my shop that cost him $150 because of air trapped in the module. Does anyone else run into this or am I just seeing the same few folks making the same mistake?

The real issue is that fluid absorbs moisture over time and causes internal caliper rust.
