A lead at the Tulsa hangar told me to quit guessing at wire routing, and my sign-offs got cleaner
I used to just follow the old harness paths by feel since they usually looked right, but a lead at our Tulsa hangar watched me do it once and asked why I was trusting memory over the print. He said the last guy who did that crossed a fuel quantity line with an ignition lead and it took three days to chase down a phantom fault. How do you all handle routing when the prints and the old wiring don't match up?
