A lot of the new guys treat a DMM like it's a magic wand.

I watched a trainee spend twenty minutes trying to find a phantom voltage drop, but he had the leads in the wrong jacks for the test he was doing. It's a basic tool, but you still have to know how to actually use it. Anyone else see this kind of thing happen often?

Seen guys blow fuses by measuring amps on the voltage setting.
