A three hour wire chase on a King Air that should have taken thirty minutes
Last Tuesday I had a King Air 200 come in with a right generator that wouldn't come online. I checked the breaker, the switch contacts, and the voltage regulator all within the first hour. Nothing worked so I started ringing out the harness from the generator field back to the panel. It took me almost three hours before I realized a pin had pushed back in a cannon plug behind the copilot's seat, it was just barely making contact. Anyone else ever spend way too long hunting a simple connection issue?

Yeah that pin push back thing gets me every time. It's like when you can't find your keys for ten minutes and they're just in your other pocket.

Steve from 2B lost his car keys for three days, @danielr99. Found them in the fridge.
