That 430 had been driving me nuts for weeks. Kept losing satellite lock right over the Rockies every time. Finally got a good look with a magnifying glass and saw this tiny hairline crack right on pin 23 of the GPS module. One quick touch with the iron and it was back to locking onto 12 birds solid. Feels good to fix something simple instead of shelling out for a whole new unit.
