TIL my stubbornness about the old 6000 series test set was costing me time
After a buddy in Tulsa showed me his results with the new portable unit, I shaved 30 minutes off a standard comms check. What piece of gear did you finally upgrade that made a real difference?

That's not a TIL, that's just admitting you were wrong.

Look who's talking, @jameswells... you've never been wrong a day in your life, right? Guess we all just learned something new today after all.

Angela, I gotta disagree with you a little here. Saying "look who's talking" kind of misses the point. When someone admits they were wrong about something, that's actually a good thing not a bad one. It shows they're willing to learn and change their mind when new info comes along. We all get stuff wrong sometimes, nobody's perfect. Giving someone a hard time for finally getting it right seems backward to me. If anything, we should be glad when people own up to their mistakes instead of doubling down.

Honestly, you're totally right. I see that kind of thing all the time where people act like they just learned a fact they were actually arguing against last week. It's pretty funny when you spot it.
