Took me 3 tries to finally stop using the wiring chart exclusively
I fought using the meter for years. Always trusted the factory schematics and figured if the continuity test passed, that was enough. Last month I had a 737 with an intermittent flap position indication that drove me crazy for two days. Chart said everything was fine. Finally broke down and started chasing voltage drops at every pin instead. Found a bad crimp on a ground lug that the chart showed as good. That was the moment I switched my mindset. Now I use the chart as a starting point, not the final answer. Has anyone else made the jump from pure print reading to trusting your meter more when things don't add up?
