Worst shift I ever had was last Tuesday on a 737 in Atlanta
Spent 6 hours tracing a intermittent fault in the weather radar system. Turned out to be a loose coax connector behind the radome that someone didn't torque right. Has anyone else found that those old ARINC 429 connectors just get flaky after 15 years?

That ARINC 429 stuff gets weird after a decade plus. Had a similar issue on a test bench once where the pins just didn't want to play nice. Sometimes old connectors just need a re-crimp and some fresh dielectric grease.

Just another day playing "find the gremlin" with a 30 year old wire bundle.

Gotta love it when you're basically playing archaeology with a wiring harness. I swear those old gremlins have been breeding in there for three decades, so you're probably dealing with a whole family reunion at this point. Every time I see a bundle that old I just start mentally calculating how many zip ties and how much electrical tape I'm gonna go through before it's done.
