My sister's baby shower cake last month turned into a colorful blob. I watched all those tutorial videos and still messed up the drip part. The white chocolate drips merged together into one big shiny puddle. It looked less like a cake and more like a modern art project gone wrong. I had to scrape it all off and just re-frost the whole thing with plain icing. Sometimes the fancy trends are just not worth the hassle.

Scraping it all off and re-frosting the whole thing? That's a level of dedication I just don't have. I would have just called it a glossy pond cake and served it with a spoon. All that work for a redo after the chocolate already set must have been a nightmare.
