Am I the only one who ditched my 6 supplement stack for just creatine and vitamin D after a $220 blood test?
Got my levels checked at a lab in Tucson 5 months ago and half the stuff I was popping was fixing problems I never had. Curious what actually showed up on your own panels before you cut anything.
How did you figure out the stuff was fixing problems you never had? The thing is, a normal blood panel does not really show much for most supplements. It checks things like vitamin D and iron and a few other basics. It will not tell you if your magnesium is low because most of that lives inside your cells, not in your blood. So your test might not have caught a real gap even if one was there. I only ask because I did the same thing and later found out my panel was never going to show the stuff I was actually low on.
