Blood work just showed my LDL dropped 62 points in 4 months

Honestly, I was not expecting this at all. I started taking 5 grams of psyllium husk before lunch and dinner back in August, just to test the fiber hack I read about on a longevity forum. My last checkup in June showed LDL at 148, which my doc said was borderline bad for my age. Yesterday I got the new results and it came back at 86. That is a bigger shift than any statin my dad takes, and I did zero cardio changes. I did cut out the daily croissant from the bakery near my office in Austin, but that feels like a small piece. Has anyone else seen dramatic lipid shifts from just adding soluble fiber, or am I the lucky outlier here?
