Cold plunge after 9 months, my bloodwork finally caught up

Three years ago I started 3 minute ice baths every morning in my garage in Austin, and my doctor thought I was nuts, but last month my CRP dropped from 3.1 to 1.2 without any other changes. Anyone else see inflammation markers shift that hard, or did I just get lucky with my baseline?

Oh come on, you really think dunking in ice water for three minutes is what dropped your CRP? That's like crediting your lucky socks for a stock market win. CRP moves around for a hundred reasons, sleep, stress, what you ate the day before, even the season. You're in Austin, maybe you stopped eating BBQ or started sleeping better and didn't notice. Plus, 3.1 to 1.2 sounds great on paper, but that's one blood draw, not a trend. I'd bet your doctor is more suspicious than impressed, and so should you be. Correlation ain't causation, man, that's like saying my car runs better after I wash it. Track it for another year before you start selling garage plunge memberships.
