PSA: My DIY red light panel burnt out after 6 months of daily use
I got this cheap 660nm panel off Amazon back in March for $80, figured it was a steal for some morning light therapy. Yesterday it just stopped working, no warning, just a dead plug and a burnt plastic smell inside. Anyone have a go-to brand that actually holds up for more than a year without breaking the bank?

My buddy Mike bought one of those cheap panels too and it started flickering after like 4 months, then just died one morning. He ended up grabbing a Hooga one off Amazon for around $150 and it's been going strong for like a year and a half now. Think the extra cash is worth it for something that doesn't smell like burnt toast.

Harperp24 I get what your buddy Mike went through but is having to swap out a $40 panel every 4-6 months really that bad? Thats like a $80-120 a year problem which is probably cheaper than that $150 Hooga in the long run if you look at it that way. Burnt toast smell isnt ideal but I'd rather have that than spend the extra cash right now tbh.
