Spent $40 on a grounding mat and thought it was total BS, but here's what happened

I bought one of those grounding mats from a random Amazon seller back in January, honestly just to shut up my buddy who wouldn't stop talking about them. First few nights, nothing. Felt like a fool sleeping with a wire stuck to my ankle, you know? But after like 5 nights straight, I woke up not groggy for the first time in months. It's probably placebo, but I also noticed my nagging shoulder ache faded by the second week. Has anyone else had a weirdly specific result with these things, or am I just tricking myself?

Wait, you hooked a wire to your ankle every night? That sounds like some kind of weird science experiment, not a product. I can't believe anyone would actually sleep with that thing strapped to them just to maybe feel better. If it actually worked for your shoulder, that's wild, but I'd be too paranoid I'd get tangled up or electrocuted somehow.

Honestly I used to think the same thing. Looked at those ads and figured it was just overpriced junk for people who'd try anything. Then my buddy let me borrow his for a week and I woke up actually able to turn my neck without pain. Changed my mind pretty quick.
