That buddy swore cold showers would fix my focus, but I crashed hard after 2 days
My gym partner kept saying a 3-minute cold shower every morning would sharpen my brain like magic. Day one I felt wired, day two I was shaky and couldn't sleep at all. Turns out I have low blood pressure, and the cold shock just tanked it further. Checked with my doctor after that, and she told me to stop cold turkey. Why do people push one-size-fits-all hacks without asking about your baseline first? Anyone else here get burned by a biohack that ignored your actual health numbers?

I read somewhere that cold exposure can crash people with low blood pressure, and your story sounds exactly like that. The "wired but wrecked" feeling is a red flag that hack wasn't built for your body.

Man, I hear what you're saying but feels like we're treating a cold shower like it's a prescription medication or something. People have been jumping into ice water for centuries without worrying about this stuff. A little bit of that "wired but wrecked" feeling is probably just your body adjusting, not a medical emergency. Unless someone's actually passing out or their heart's doing something weird, I'd say it's more about listening to your own body than following some online warning label. Cold exposure isn't for everyone but calling it a "red flag" seems like a stretch for most folks.
