That time a retired nurse in Phoenix told me my light therapy setup was totally wrong

I was at a little coffee shop near South Mountain a few months ago, and this older woman saw me checking a blue light meter on my phone. She asked if I was chasing circadian rhythms, and I said yeah, trying to get my morning light protocol dialed in. She straight up told me I was wasting my time because the cheap LEDs I had don't put out the right nm wavelength for actual mitochondrial response. She pulled out her own little handheld device and showed me hers, just a basic red light 660nm unit she got from a medical supply site for like 40 bucks. She'd been using it for three years to help with joint pain and sleep, and she kept a log of her results in a spiral notebook. I ended up ditching my fancy panel and copying her setup, and I swear my morning energy feels more stable now. Has anyone else run into a random stranger who totally changed how you approach a biohack?

Used to roll my eyes at cheap red lights but that nurse story has me rethinking everything.

Oh yeah, nothing says "I've seen things" quite like cheap wine.
