Unpopular opinion: my $8 kitchen scale did more for my sleep than any supplement I bought
Two months ago I was waking up at 3am almost nightly and blaming everything from coffee to my mattress. On a whim I started weighing my dinner on a cheap kitchen scale, and it turned out I was eating close to 2 pounds of food after 8pm. I moved my biggest meal to lunch and kept dinner under 12 ounces, and the 3am wakeups dropped to maybe once a week. I know it sounds like basic portion stuff, but nobody ever frames it as a sleep fix. Has anyone else tracked meal weight and seen their sleep change, or am I just reading too much into it?
Boring is right but man it works. I just cut my portions down at dinner and stopped eating after 7 and that alone knocked out my 3am wake ups, no fancy tracking needed. @thomas_price you don't gotta weigh everything, just eat a little lighter and earlier and see what happens.
