My hammer fumble at a French countryside forge

I was visiting a family-run forge in rural France last spring. The owner showed how to shape a scroll, and I tried to copy his moves. In my excitement, I swung the hammer too wide and hit the bellows instead of the iron. Everyone burst out laughing, and we had to stop to fix the leather strap.
