Unpopular opinion: my cheapo 2lb cross peen outdrew the fancy hammer at the demo in Tulsa
Was doing a small demo at a farm show outside Tulsa last month and about 20 minutes in my good hammer's handle felt loose, so I grabbed the $22 cross peen I keep as a backup. It actually drew out the tapers cleaner in front of the crowd and I ended up finishing the whole piece with it. Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the cheap hammer sometimes just fits your hand better?
