Debate: my $40 phone case cracked in 3 weeks, so is a pricey case smarter or just a scam?
I dropped $40 on a clear case for my phone and the corner cracked after 3 weeks, and now I'm stuck deciding if I should file a claim or just eat it. My friend says cheap $10 cases worked fine for him for years, but the guy at the kiosk in the Mall of Georgia swore the fancy one had "military grade" drop protection. I'm out $40 either way, so what's the real play here: buy cheap and replace, or pay up and hope? Tell me which side you're on.
