The $60 desk chair from Facebook Marketplace lasted 2 weeks before the gas cylinder gave out
I picked up this chair from a seller in Portland last Tuesday, the listing said barely used and honestly it felt fine for the first few days. Then on day 14 I leaned back to grab a notebook and the seat dropped to the floor with this awful hiss, no warning at all. I'm sitting at 5'9" and now my desk setup is useless, is there a way to swap the cylinder on these or should I just scrap it and look for something sturdier?
