Spent $150 on a 'viral' kitchen gadget that makes one thing and one thing only

I caved and bought that stupid spiralizer that does nothing but turn zucchini into noodles. First time I used it the handle snapped off in my hand halfway through a squash. Now it sits in the back of my cabinet mocking me every time I open the door. Anyone else fall for a overhyped short video kitchen tool that turned out to be junk?

Read a consumer report that tested about a dozen of those spiralizers and only one brand held up to a full squash without breaking. The rest either snapped handles or the blades got dull after two uses. Makes you wonder how these companies stay in business selling junk that can't even make it through a single meal prep. And @elliot_roberts, I almost wish it had gotten a finger so I could have had a decent story instead of just a broken gadget and a $150 lesson. Mine did the exact same thing halfway through a sweet potato, and now it's in the same cabinet prison as yours.

Did it at least chop your fingers off so you could get your money back?

Bought one of those, broke it, threw it straight in the trash where it belonged. Never again falling for a fancy video kitchen toy.
