That 5-second countdown hack on recipe videos actually saved me 3 hours this week

I was wasting so much time skipping past intros and chit-chat on cooking clips, then I found out if you scroll to the last 5-8 seconds of any food video, they always flash the ingredient list. Now I skip straight to the end instead of hunting through 2 minutes of nonsense. Has anyone else figured out dumb little workarounds like this for the algorithm?

Wait, do you do the same thing with podcast timestamps in show notes?

Honestly, I think timestamps in show notes are kinda overrated for podcasts.

Man, I used to think the same thing until I started listening to a history podcast called "The Fall of Rome" that has like 90 minute episodes. I found myself constantly skipping around trying to find where they talk about specific battles or emperors. Now I actually appreciate timestamps a lot, especially for long episodes where you might want to revisit a certain part later. It's also super helpful if you're listening while doing something else and zone out for 10 minutes. I definitely changed my mind after spending way too long scrubbing through episodes trying to find one specific part.
