That coworker who films every single meal prep video at work with the flash on

I was at my desk in the break room around 3am during a night shift, just trying to eat my sandwich in peace. This one girl, Jenna, comes in and sets up her phone propped against a ketchup bottle to film herself making overnight oats in a mason jar. She did this whole thing where she layered yogurt and berries super slowly, narrating it like it was a cooking show. Then she turned on the flash so bright it lit up the whole room, and I could hear her whispering "okay now add the honey" to herself. I asked her if she could use a softer light or just take a photo instead, and she said it's for her "aesthetic" on her channel where she posts daily wellness content. Has anyone else had to dodge someone's TikTok setup in a public space like a break room or bus stop?

Read somewhere that some people actually do this on purpose to mark their territory in shared spaces, like a weird power move. Get a desk lamp if the lighting is that important.

Right? I lived with a girl in college who would leave her coat on a chair for weeks just to claim the whole corner of the common room. She even got mad if anyone moved it, like we worked for her or something. Did you ever have to deal with one of those desk lamp people yourself?

My friend @shane_bell and I actually dealt with this at our clinic once, so I just started eating my lunch right in her shot and told her the flash was giving me a headache, which made her move to the hallway.
