That fitness influencer's '5 minute ab routine' had me in tears laughing
My roommate showed me this video last Tuesday of a girl claiming you can get a six pack doing her 'easy 5 minute routine'. It was literally just her lying on a yoga mat eating a granola bar for 4 minutes and then doing one crunch. The comments were full of people saying 'omg so effective!' and I lost it. I spent $12 on a mat to try it myself and felt like an idiot when I realized the whole thing was satire. The video had 2 million views too so I guess I'm not the only sucker. Has anyone else fallen for one of these fake simple routines?

Wait, the whole video was literally her eating a granola bar for like 4 minutes? I can't believe anyone would actually fall for that, that's wild. Honestly, the worst part is that people in the comments were probably just trolling or being ironic, and real folks like you actually bought a mat and tried it. I've seen a few of those "one weird trick" fitness things pop up on my feed but nothing that dumb. It's kind of funny and sad at the same time that people actually think a 5 minute routine with one crunch will give you abs. Hope you at least got a good laugh out of the mat purchase later.

Wait, was the mat really that bad though? Got some use out of it at least.
