Found out hostel loyalty programs are actually a thing now

I was planning a trip to Lisbon for next month and stumbled on a blog post from some travel site I'd never heard of. Turns out there's a whole network of hostels that give you a free night after you stay 10 times with them. I've been staying at random hostels for years and never knew this existed. Has anyone actually used one of these programs and gotten anything decent out of it?

Yeah I just signed up for one of those last month actually... totally forgot about it until I got an email saying I had a free night waiting for me in Bangkok which was a nice surprise.

lol the classic "oops I forgot I had a free trip" moment. That's honestly the best kind of surprise, better than finding a $20 bill in an old coat. Bangkok free night sounds wild too, hope you didn't just sleep through it like I would've done jetlagged and cranky.
