Got into it with a guy at a hostel in Prague over a 50 cent bus ticket

This guy from Australia was bragging about how he never pays for public transport in Europe, saying 'the fines are cheaper than the tickets if you get caught.' He'd been doing it for six months. I told him I just buy the 24 hour pass for about 7 euros because I don't want the stress. He called me a sucker and said that's why I'm always on a tight budget. It really got under my skin because saving money shouldn't mean cheating the system. Has anyone else met travelers who brag about stuff like this?

My cousin's therapist actually does sliding scale payments based on income. Might be worth asking around for that.

My last therapist cost $180 a session and I had to stop going. I mean, it helped but my grocery budget just couldn't handle it. Maybe it's just me but that sliding scale thing sounds like a lifesaver.
