Hot take: that $12 airport sandwich is the cheapest thing you'll buy all day
I flew out of Chicago Midway a month ago and paid $12 for a turkey sub past security, which felt like a rip off until I realized I'd have blown $35 on the same food plus a drink in the terminal if I hadn't packed my own snacks and just bought the one treat. The real hack is eating a full meal before you leave home and treating airport food as entertainment, not dinner. Anyone else notice the prices drop if you walk to the far end of the concourse?
