My hostel locker ate my backup charger in Barcelona
I was staying at a place near Las Ramblas last month and put my spare phone charger in the locker while I showered. The lock jammed shut with all my stuff inside and the front desk guy just shrugged and said they'd get to it in the morning. Has anyone else had a hostel locker glitch on them and how did you get your stuff back without breaking the thing?

Front desk guy probably wanted to go back to scrolling his phone. Classic Barcelona hostel energy. Had a similar thing happen in Seville where I just wedged a butter knife in the gap and wiggled it until the latch popped. Worked like a charm but scratched the paint.
