Overheard a guy at the Austin airport say he saves $200 a year by eating hotel breakfasts twice

I was waiting for my flight and this dude was on the phone bragging about hitting up the free breakfast at different hotels even when he wasn't staying there. He said he just walks in like he belongs, grabs a plate, and leaves. Never even crossed my mind to try that. Seems kinda sketchy but also smart if you're near a tourist area with big hotels. Anyone else ever pull something like that?

Ha! That's genius but I'd probably get caught and have to do the walk of shame past the front desk with a half-eaten waffle. I can barely sneak an extra granola bar from my own hotel lobby without looking guilty.

Is it really that serious though? They probably don't even care.

Honestly, I hear you @thea602. It feels like sometimes we get worked up over things that the other person has already forgotten about. But I think it's less about whether they care and more about how it makes us feel in the moment. If something bothers you, it's okay to let yourself feel that way without having to justify it to anyone. We all have different thresholds for what gets under our skin. Just don't let it eat at you for too long, that's the real trick.
