Stopped buying iced coffee for a month and saved $87

I live in Austin and was getting a medium iced latte from the shop near my job site like 4 or 5 times a week. Never really added it up. Then my girlfriend pointed out it was probably eating my lunch money. So I did the math. $5.25 a pop times 5 days a week times 4 weeks. That's $105 a month easy. So I switched to making cold brew at home in a big jug. $5 bag of beans lasts me almost two weeks. The jug and filter were a one time $12 buy. Total savings came out to $87 last month. Feels good but man do I miss that barista who already knows my order... Anyone else get surprised by a daily habit like this?
