A coworker told me to ditch my daily coffee shop run and I'm mad they were right

Been getting a $5.50 latte every morning for like 2 years straight. My buddy Jake who does accounting kept saying 'just make it at home, you'll save like $100 a month easy.' Finally caved and bought a $30 french press and a bag of beans. First week was rough, not gonna lie. But now after 3 months I've saved around $400. Still miss that coffee shop atmosphere though. Anyone else have a habit they thought was too small to matter but turned out to be a real money drain?
