Finally tried the 'no-spend weekend' thing my sister kept pushing

Honestly, I was sure it would feel like being grounded, but we just hiked and cooked from the pantry and saved $87. Anyone have other low-cost weekend ideas that don't suck?

Honestly it's crazy how different a grocery budget can be for people. Tbh seeing numbers like that just makes me realize how tight things are for a lot of folks right now. Wait, hold on. That math doesn't add up for me. Ten bucks on cereal is a lot of boxes, even name brand. I just bought two big ones last week and the store brand was maybe two dollars less, not ten. Maybe it's a bigger family or something, but that saving seems way off from what I see.
