I kept paying for a gym membership I forgot about for 8 months
I signed up for a gym near my old apartment and then moved across town. I set up auto-pay and just forgot to cancel it. I only noticed when I was looking at my bank stuff last week. It was $39.99 a month, so that's over $300 gone. Has anyone else had a subscription sneak up on them like that?

Call them, they often refund a few months.

Used to think those charges were just gone for good. Lucas's idea about calling them actually worked for my friend last year, got two months back. Might be worth a shot.
