I saw a family of four at a Portland food cart pod and their system was genius
They each had a $10 cash budget and the kids were comparing prices per ounce on the menus. Has anyone else seen a simple trick that made you totally rethink your own spending?

Honestly @brooket43, you're not wrong. Try being the parent who has to cut up a toddler's pancakes into exactly 37 identical bites while your own food gets cold. Or explaining for the tenth time why we can't just have ice cream for dinner. My idea of a fun night out now is everyone eating the same color food group without a meltdown. It's a different kind of joy, I guess.
