I was tracking my spending wrong for a full year and didn't know it.
I always wrote down every coffee and grocery run in my notebook, but my account balance never matched up. The problem hit me last Tuesday when I found a $12 charge for an app subscription I forgot I had. I realized I was only tracking what I bought, not the automatic payments that just happen. Now I check my bank statement first thing every Friday. Anyone else have a sneaky subscription they forgot about?

Oh man, I found a music app I haven't used since 2020, @terryscott. My wallet's still paying for that gym membership too.
