Switched to a cash envelope for groceries and it actually worked
I gave myself $75 a week in cash and put the card away. Ended the week with $12 left, which never happens. Anyone else find cash makes you think twice before buying?

I get the idea, but carrying that much cash around makes me nervous... what if you lose the envelope? My card has fraud protection at least.

Oh great, so instead of losing cash you can lose your whole bank account to some skimmer at a gas station. Real upgrade there. I guess I'll just keep my rent money in a sock drawer and hope the burglar has a sense of humor about it.
