Why does nobody talk about the 4 week wait before a budget actually shows results
I was in line at the Aldi on 8th St last Tuesday and the woman behind me said she quit her budget after two weeks because nothing changed. That hit me because I did the same thing with my first spreadsheet back in January, gave up by day 10. The truth is my grocery bill didn't drop until week 4, when the habit of checking the pantry before shopping finally kicked in. Now I'm at $210 a month for two people, down from $340, but it took almost a month of looking broke before it started working. What's the longest you stuck with a budget change before you actually saw the number move?
