A coworker told me my weekly spread looked like a tax form
I spent 6 months doing these ultra detailed weekly layouts with columns for every category and little boxes for each hour of the day. He said it looked like something from H&R Block and I realized he was right, so I stripped it down to just a simple task list and a notes section. Has anyone else had someone call out their bujo style and made you totally pivot?

Honestly that's a win in my book. Tax forms are just highly organized systems that the government forces you to use, so your coworker basically said your bujo was so organized it looked official. I'd take that as a compliment even if he meant it as a roast. But yeah, I had someone tell me my habit tracker looked like a prison sentence chart once. Stripped that thing down to just "ate vegetables: yes/no" and moved on with my life. Sometimes you just gotta accept that detailed and aesthetically pleasing are two different beasts.

Wait really though? Is a bujo supposed to be that serious?
