Digital versus analog layouts for my bullet journal this year
I started January with a fully digital bullet journal on my tablet... thought it would be so convenient with the undo button and unlimited colors. But by March I was losing track of my weekly spreads because I kept switching apps and getting distracted. Then I went back to a plain dotted notebook and a black pen for April... and my productivity actually went up 40 percent. Has anyone else found that going low-tech on the notebook part actually helps them focus better?

Wait, you actually tracked a 40 percent increase? That's wild.

Did you try checking the same time window as last year? That's what made it click for me lol.

Yeah exactly, @smith.elliot, the tracking thing is kind of the point though. Once I started using a plain notebook, I actually naturally noticed patterns in my energy levels and focus time without trying to measure it. The digital stuff made me overthink everything and constantly tweak the system instead of just using it. Funny how going back to paper forced me to slow down and actually pay attention to what worked.
