Hot take: swapping my fine tip pen for a brush pen fixed my messy layouts

I spent 6 months getting frustrated with crooked lines in my monthly spreads. Tried a Tombow brush pen last week and the thicker strokes hide all my wobbly mistakes. Anyone else ditch the precision tools for something that just covers up the chaos?

Oh man, totally get that! My friend Sarah had the same thing happen. She was getting so frustrated with her sketches looking messy and then she grabbed my old Tombow brush pen on accident and it was like night and day. She said the thicker line just hid all her little shaky marks and made everything look way more confident. I think it's kinda freeing not having to be so precise all the time.
