Just had to decide between a weekly spread and a daily log for my work notes this quarter.
I picked the daily log and it's been way better for keeping track of all my client calls, but I'm curious if anyone has a good way to still see the weekly overview without rewriting everything.

Lol my weekly summaries always end up looking like a toddler's art project, but that color coding trick might save me.

Yeah, I ran into that same wall. What saved me was adding a weekly summary page right before the next week's dailies start. I just jot down the big client wins or pending tasks from each day in two lines max. That way on Friday I can see the whole week without copying every single call note.

That weekly summary trick is solid. I started color coding mine by client or project type. Green for closed deals, yellow for follow ups, red for blockers. Makes the Friday review way faster because you can spot patterns. If I see three reds for the same client, I know where to focus next week. It turns a list of notes into a real action plan.
