My $12 dotted notebook bled through every page, so I started taping in index cards instead
Bought a cheap dotted notebook at a shop in Reno last month because the cover was nice. Every pen I own ghosts through it, even a basic ballpoint, so half my October spreads are unreadable. Now I just write the daily log on 3x5 index cards and tape them onto the pages, which honestly makes it easy to move stuff around. Anyone else give up on a journal after one bad paper test?
This is like every "cheap vs expensive" thing in life where the cheap one ends up costing you more time and hassle. Same thing happened to me with a $15 planner from Target, the pages were so thin you could see last week's grocery list through them. Now I just buy the $5 pack of cards and a binder clip and call it a day, way less stress.
