My sister said my weekly spread looked like a grocery list and honestly she was right
I showed my sister my February weekly spread at her place in Reno and she said it looked like a grocery list, just rows of tasks with zero room to breathe. I was mad for about a day, but she had a point, so now I cap each day at 4 tasks and leave the bottom third for notes. Part of me thinks fancy spreads are just procrastination in disguise, but the other part misses how much I got done with the crowded version. Where do you all land, does a packed spread keep you on track or just stress you out?
My sister said the same thing about mine back in June, called it a wall of chores. I used to jam like 11 or 12 things into a single day box and cross them off like a maniac, and yeah I got stuff done, but I also felt sick every Sunday night staring at the week ahead. Cut it to 5 tasks a day plus a little notes space and the stress dropped a lot, though I still feel guilty when something rolls over. Fancy spreads with doodles and color coding are for sure procrastination for me, I spend an hour making it pretty instead of doing the actual thing. Packed spreads kept me busy but half that busy was just moving stuff around, not real progress.
