Tried a minimalist weekly spread last month and it actually stuck
I always thought I needed tons of trackers and color coding to make bullet journaling worth it. But after a busy week at my job in Portland, I tried a super simple layout with just Monday through Sunday and a tiny task list each day. It took me 10 minutes to set up and I actually filled it in every single day for 3 weeks straight. Has anyone else found that cutting back made them more consistent?

Saw a study that said too many options actually make us less likely to stick with things.

Too many options basically guarantees I'll end up staring at the Netflix menu for an hour and then just watch The Office again. Same with ordering food, I'll scroll through a huge menu for ten minutes and then panic-order the same burger I always get. It's like my brain just freezes up and shuts down when there's more than like, three choices. My friend jokes that I need a handler for picking out a new phone case. Guess I'm the walking proof that study's spot on.
